Since we are a membership customer, I like the routine maintenance checks each year. While I understand that you are a business, I don't like upselling overpriced products/systems that I don't need or want.

Spencer Starks (Mission Heating & Cooling) serviced our system. He arrived promptly, was very professional (communicated and articulated), and diagnosed the problem within minutes of arriving! Upon completion of fixing the issue, he took the time to explain what he discovered, how he repaired the problem, and the likelihood of any future issues that we need to look out for. So the issue was an amperage start-up fault (C2 error). We discussed options for long-term resolution, such as a soft-start device. This would help reduce any amperage overload at start-up. Spencer was very informative and professional. We only had to pay a $49 service charge, because there technically wasn't any repair that needed to be done. Thanks, Mr. Starks! When you thought customer service had fallen off, he proved it still exists. Give this man a raise! We have an Amana unit, installed by Hometown Heroes Heating & Cooling.

Deaven at MPHC came out on a Saturday afternoon to address issues with a newer AC unit that was constantly running but not cooling. He was very thorough and tested all components of the recently installed system. He needed to speak to tech support at the manufacturer of the unit before he could proceed with the final repair since the unit is still under warranty. Since it was the weekend he was unable to do that, and he set up an appointment to come back. He provided a temporary fix to get me by. Another MPHC tech who was in the neighborhood but who was “off the clock” delivered the necessary part for the temporary fix. I couldn’t have hoped for better service beginning with the person who answered the phone. You hear a lot of negative comments about investment companies that buy local HVAC businesses, but MPHC and Southern took excellent care of the situation.

Mission Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling came to our house today. The receptionist who answered my call and made the appointment was courteous, knowledgeable, and very efficient. In fact, she was able to send a service person out the same day I called. Michael was exceptional. He quickly diagnosed our problem, which turned out to be very small but very important. He even wrote down the steps involved in setting our high-tech thermostat. We will surely ask for him specifically if we have any further issues with our HVAC system.

My elderly mother's AC wasn't working well. She called another company and after hours of inspection they recommended replacement of AC, furnace, ductwork, plumbing. All had to be redone, to the tune of $22,000. Mission sent out a tech, Klein, who said the ductwork wasn't connected correctly. He connected it, offered to get quotes for another couple of things, but said the AC and furnace were fine. Just a small fee to reconnect the duct. Now she has AC. We appreciate the integrity of Mission and the tech, Klein.

Cameron is a lifesaver! We had a major underground water leak that appeared to be on the house connection side. He was the only plumber out of three called that agreed to come out the same day. He was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed that the leak was on the city's side, not our house connection. This saved us a lot of money, and he only charged a very minimal service fee. Highly recommend!

Yesterday Bo and his crew member Anthony did a great job. They arrived when they said they would, and they were finished by the time they said they would be. They did a very professional-looking job, and after the first night it seems to be functional. They cleaned up very well after themselves and were friendly and very professional.
